AQHA's 2008 Ontario Justin Rookie Award Winners

Congratulations to Ashley Dee, on being named AQHA’s 2008 Ontario Justin Rookie award winner in the youth division.

While Ashley is no stranger to EOQHA shows, having competed with us for the past 3 show seasons, this was an exciting year for her with a new horse Taylored Tobe Awesum.

This new partnership proved to be a very successful one, earning Ashley & Taylor 17.5 AQHA points in the youth 13 & under division.

Way to go Ashley, EOQHA is very proud of you! Keep up the great work and all the best in 2009!

AQHA’s Ontario Justin Rookie winner in the Amateur division also was awarded to an EOQHA member, Cheri Woodrow, and her gelding Kuz Thats Why earned a total of 20 AQHA points to capture the amateur division for our province.

Cheri has been a competitor for many years within other breed associations, but made her switch to Quarter Horses a few years ago much to the delight of all who have gotten to know the outgoing and always smiling amateur competitor. Cheri has been very dedicated to the Amateurs in Ontario, and seeing her win this award is an accomplishment that we all celebrate with her.
