Greetings
from the Eastern Ontario Quarter Horse Association!
The Eastern
Ontario Quarter Horse Association (EOQHA) has for over thirty
years attracted competitors from all over Ontario, Quebec and
the Northern United States to their American Quarter Horse Association
(AQHA) approved events.
Competitors
compete in a wide variety of events, which includes the elegance
of the English Hunter classes, the traditional sophistication
of Pleasure Driving, the manageability and grace of the Western
Performance classes, as well as the thrill and excitement of Western
Speed events.
It is the
love of this great breed of horse and the dedication that these
animals inspire that brings together the many members of The Eastern
Ontario Quarter Horse Association. Together these members host
three AQHA approved show circuits, where they also hold various
educational demonstrations.
These are
exciting times in the Eastern Ontario Quarter Horse Association!
Participation is at an all-time high and our shows and programs
grow more popular each year.
EOQHA is dedicated
to the promotion and prosperity of the equine industry throughout
Eastern Ontario; by aiding our sponsors in making their new products
visible within the industry, and helping people get the most out
of their relationships with their equine friends.
Sponsorship
can take many forms. Whether it’s the purchase of web or
print advertising, customized sponsorship packages or direct donations
to one or all of our three show circuits, your contributions will
help EOQHA continue to develop, grow and give back to the equine
community.
Align your
company, products or small business with Ontario's most popular
Quarter Horse show hosts, the Eastern Ontario Quarter Horse Association!
We are pleased
to offer customized sponsorship packages that suit your individual
needs and your budget! Giving you the freedom to choose the branding
initiatives that hit your target audience on your terms!
The Eastern
Ontario Quarter Horse Association and its members truly believe,
that there is no better way to spend a weekend, then with good
friends, and great horses!!!

sponsorship opportunities, including the creation of customized

Circle
R Saddlery
Mr.
Ray Laviolette is a long standing corporate sponsor and
life time member of EOQHA will be hosting the Annual Exhibitors
Corn Roast on the Saturday evening of the Summer Sizzler
event again this year. They are also the Proud Sponsor of
the EOQHA classes.
Ontario
Born Ray Laviolette came by his interest in saddles as a
natural outgrowth of his riding and association with horse
people in Ontario & Quebec. Riding was his major hobby,
and when saddles and tack was not readily available in his
immediate area, he decided to open a tack shop. |
In
1972, Circle R Tack Shop was born. It was soon transformed
in to a saddle shop as there were more repairs for local
horse people than sales. From a repair shop it became a
full saddle shop by 1976.
In
1978, the great horseman "Monte Foreman" gave
Ray the rights to build the "Balanced Ride" saddle
and the business really took off. Since then, Ray, operating
as "Circle R Saddlery", has built close to 800
in his small shop. Some for Canadian horsemen, some for
export to the U.S.A., Germany, France, & Italy. Many
of those for Champions in Reining, Pleasure, Barrels Racing,
& Cutting.
Ray
& his family have been familiar faces at EOQHA events
for several years, having been involved in many levels of
the association as both board member and long time sponsor.
On behalf of the Eastern Ontario Quarter Horse Association
we would like to thank the Laviolette's for their long term
support and dedication to the Horse Industry. |

The
Runtz Family
Dave
and Dianne have been supporters of the club since the night
the club was formed, at Al's Steak House, back in 1981.
You can find Dave at shows, when he's available, helping
with anything that needs to be done. Delivering shavings,
fixing stalls, setting up and taking down trail, and cleaning
out barns after the shows. Dianne has been a member of the
executive for most of the club's years. She served as president
for four years and was responsible for moving the shows
to the Carp Fair grounds. Since the move, the entries have
continued to grow, making EOQHA shows the place to be. Dave
and Dianne raised their two daughters, Carrie Ann and Jenny
in this club. "A great way to raise kids", says
Dianne. You can find Dianne, these days, doing the treasurer
job, booking stalls and keeping track of year-end points.
She's also going to be showing her new horse, Hesa Racy
Principle, and thanks Dave for keeping her showing, as she
has a lot of fun with her horses and her friends.
Dave
& Dianne are the sponsors for the EOQHA Spring Fling
Circuit Awards. |
